FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR DENTAL CORPS

ACTIVE

  • Dental Officer Accession Bonuses between $150,000-$400,000 for in-demand specialties
  • Provides up to $120,000 to pay down qualifying dental school loans through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program; participants receive $40,000 per year for three years

RESERVE

  • Special Pay of $30,000 per year for general dentists, endodontists, prosthodontists, public health dentists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons
  • Dental school loan repayment of up to $250,000 through the Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment Program; participants receive up to $40,000 per year

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR MEDICAL CORPS

ACTIVE

  • Provides up to $120,000 to pay down qualifying medical school loans through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program; participants receive $40,000 per year for three years

RESERVE

  • Reserve physicians are eligible to receive the Health Professions Special Pay of $50,000 per year
  • Medical school loan repayment of up to $250,000 over three years through the Healthcare Professions Loan Repayment Program

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR ALLIED HEALTH CORPS

ACTIVE

  • Pharmacist Accession Bonus of up to $30,000, paid in lump sum at first duty assignment
  • Provides up to $120,000 to pay down qualifying pharmacy school loans through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program; participants receive $40,000 per year for three years
  • Provides up to $60,000 to pay down qualifying student loans for Optometry, Aeromedical Evacuation, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory, Entomology, Audiology, and Social Work
  • Special Pay of up to $20,000 per year for Optometry, Aeromedical Evacuation, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory, Entomology, Audiology, and Social Work
  • Special Pay Accession Bonus of up to 30,000 for licensed clinical social workers and up to 60,000 for clinical psychologists

RESERVE

  • Special Pay of up to $20,000 per year for Optometry, Aeromedical Evacuation, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory, Entomology, Audiology, and Social Work
  • Special Pay Accession Bonus of up to 30,000 for licensed clinical social workers and up to 60,000 for clinical psychologists
  • Qualifying candidates are eligible for student loan repayment of up to $60,000 for Optometry, Aeromedical Evacuation, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory, Entomology, Audiology, and Social Work through the Reserve Component Health Professions Loan Repayment (RCHPLR) Program
  • Clinical Psychologists are eligible for up to $250,000 in student loan repayment through the Reserve Component Health Professions Loan Repayment (RCHPLR) Program

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR NURSE CORPS

ACTIVE

  • Active Army Nurse Accession Bonus of up to $30,000 (up to $10,000 if combined with loan repayment program)
  • Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program provides up to $120,000 for the repayment of qualifying educational loans; participants can receive $40,000 per year for up to three years

RESERVE

  • Qualified nurses are eligible for student loan repayment of up to $60,000 over three years through the Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment Program
  • Special Pay of $25,000 per year for specializations as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, Operating Room Nurses, Nurse Anesthetists, Critical Care, and Public Health nurses

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR VETERINARY CORPS

ACTIVE

  • Provides up to $120,000 to pay down qualifying veterinary school loans through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program; participants receive $40,000 per year for three years

RESERVE

  • Special Pay of $15,000 per year for Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Veterinary Lab Animal Service, Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Clinical Medicine
  • Veterinarians are eligible for student loan repayment of up to $60,000 over three years through the Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment Program
