My name is Private Alicia Martel and I'm from Concord, New Hampshire, my question is from Rebecca from Circleville, Ohio. She'd like to know; "What it is like for a mom when she joins the Army, what are all the different emotions she has when leaving her family?"
I'm a mother of three and it is extremely difficult but if you prepare your children and let them know in advance. If you have a large support system you should be fine.
Just remember what you're doing this for and your doing it for your children and to help them with a better future and they'll respect you when they'll get older.
