I'm Specialist Owens from York, Pennsylvania I'm answering a question from Sheyenne from Harrisville, Pennsylvania. She asks; "Joining the Army has been my dream since I was a little girl. My biggest fear is basic training. I play sports and everything but I'm kind of scared. Is there anything that I can do to get myself ready for basic?"

Honestly Sheyenne, if you are used to playing sports and being in a team and getting rough and dirty and physical activities then you should be fine. Most of basic training is a mind game, just be prepared for that. Other than that get your two-mile down, do a bunch of push-ups and sit-ups and you should really be fine with the physical portion of basic training.
