Wright State University Army ROTC is a relatively new program. The battalion began as a part of the University of Dayton but was later established as a Host Battalion in 1997. Traditions run deep in our program based on the original concepts of MAJ Eric Henry. MAJ Henry and his staff were directly responsible for the current structure of Army ROTC at Wright State University. They worked diligently to establish WSU as a Host Battalion and lay the foundation for all future cadre and cadets.
