“ I come from a long military lineage. My great great grandfather fought for the Union Army in the Civil War, my great grandfather died in the trenches of World War I, my grandfather was in the first wave at Iwo Jima, and my father fought in Desert Storm. I feel proud about myself by becoming the soldier that I want to be....Learning how to become what I've wanted to be my whole life is what makes me love being in Army ROTC ”

Cadet Dashiel Morger, Class of ’09, Amherst, New Hampshire
