“ Being a part of Army ROTC has allowed me to participate in so many things that I enjoy. Within just one semester, I ran the Army 10-Miler in Washington D.C. and a half marathon with the UCF Army ROTC Distance Team. It is so much fun and incredibly exciting. ”

RANGER CHALLENGE

The Ranger Challenge is an opportunity for schools to "compete" with each other completing military tasks. In addition to a written examination where Cadets test their Army knowledge, there are physical fitness drills and field exercises. Battalions leave a Ranger Challenge with stronger bonds and sharper skills.

PERSHING RIFLES

The National Society of Pershing Rifles gives Army ROTC Cadets the opportunity to develop to the highest degree possible. Cadets can take part in precision trick rifle drill teams that provide them with the outstanding traits of leadership, military bearing and discipline.

Not all training is conducted in the classroom. Hands on training in thefield environment is an integral part of the ROTC experience. Army ROTC givesyou the skills to be a successful leader in any environment.

Weekly Leadership Labs are conducted on campus where you get the opportunityto put what you learned in the classroom to use.

At least once a semester the Battalion Host a Social where cadets can relaxand get to know their peers in a relaxed environment.  Some to theactivities we have enjoyed as a battalion is bowling, BBQs, movies andpaintball.
