Chaplain Initial Military Training

Chaplain Initial Military Training (CIMT). This is the "basic training" phase in which Army Basic Officer Leader Course common core and Army Warrior tasks are trained.

Phase I

Training covers orientation to the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps and the professional staff officer skills needed to function in the Army.

Phase II

Training provides basic skills and pastoral ministry skills necessary to function as a chaplain at the battalion level.

Phase III

Training brings together leadership, professionalism, and Officership in field, garrison, and social environments. It culminates in a 72 hour situational training exercise (STX).
