ACTIVE MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS BENEFITS

By choosing to serve as an allied health professional and an Officer in the Active Army, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive salary, low-cost or no-cost medical, dental and life insurance, generous retirement plan options, housing allowances and 30 days of paid vacation earned annually. Perhaps most importantly, you can take advantage of reasonable work-life balance that provides plenty of time for family and recreational pursuits.

OPTOMETRY HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (HPSP)

You could receive a full-tuition scholarship for up to four years for an accredited optometry program. In addition, you'll receive reimbursement of academic fees and a monthly stipend of more than $1,900.

PSYCHOLOGY HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (HPSP)

Receive a full-tuition scholarship for up to two years of your APA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctorate. You'll also be reimbursed for academic fees and receive a monthly stipend of more than $1,900.

PHARMACIST ACCESSION BONUS

Qualified Pharmacists are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of $30,000, paid in a lump sum at the first duty station.

PHARMACIST HEALTH PROFESSIONAL LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM

Receive more than $114,000 to repay your pharmacy school loans.

RESERVE MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS BENEFITS

Your service on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team will enable you to work in your community and serve when needed. In addition to financial incentives and retirement plan options, you'll have opportunities for career development as an Officer in one of the world's largest and most advanced health care organizations.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST SPECIAL PAY

Receive a $30,000 recruitment bonus, paid in three yearly installments of $10,000. This offer may be combined with one other Army Reserve incentive program.

OPTOMETRIST SPECIAL PAY

You could receive a recruitment bonus of $30,000, paid in three annual installments of $10,000. This offer may be combined with one other Army Reserve incentive program.

ENTOMOLOGIST SPECIAL PAY

You'll be rewarded for your service with a $15,000 recruitment bonus, paid in three annual installments of $5,000. This offer may be combined with one other Army Reserve incentive program.

HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM (HPLR)

Clinical psychologists, entomologists and optometrists are eligible to receive a total of $50,000 over three years to repay qualifying education loans.
