Tactical radio communications play an integral role in the Army's ability to transmit and receive critical information.

Operating and maintaining tactical radio communication systems around the world is the job of the Radio Operator-Maintainer.

As a Radio Operator-Maintainer, you will be responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of tactical radio communication equipment and security devices..,

... and maintaining assigned power generators, facilities and equipment.

After successful completion of 10 weeks of Army Basic Combat Training you will be assigned to the U.S. Army Signal School at Fort Gordon, Georgia for 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.

As a Radio Operator-Maintainer you will be eligible for worldwide assignment and have working knowledge of tactical radio operations, basic antenna theory and basic electrical principles..,
