Private Anthony Caldwell from Baltimore, Maryland, here at Fort Benning, Georgia basic training. Mike from Vineland, New Jersey "I'm married and want to know how difficult it is for you to be away from your family for more than two-months?"

Mike, I can tell you from personal experience, I married, 27 years old, have four kids, another kid on the way, which should be coming around 11 to 12-days from now. No lying Mike it's absolutely very difficult to spend each day away from your family, when you've been there protecting them and caring for them the whole time.

But you have to use it as motivation; it's going to be really difficult but think about all the pleasures that you're going to get after this and how proud everyone's going to be for you there Mike. So you just got to keep strong, keep motivated, and think about your children and why you're doing this.
