Hi, I'm Justin Parkhill from Fresno, California, I'm here at Fort Benning for basic training and Travis from Washington, Missouri is asking; "How demanding is the first weeks of basic training?"

Well the first 3-weeks are called red phase. They are pretty much all the same, they are physically demanding, very emotionally demanding. You'll hear a lot of screaming, you'll do a lot of PT you don't want to do, you'll get smoked a lot. It'll basically suck for 3-weeks so it'll probably be the worst 3-weeks ever. But after that it all gets good after that.
