Hello, my name is Specialist Zack Webb from Anderson, Indiana and I'm answering a question from Keith from Jacksonville, Florida. Keith asks; " I'm 20 and looking to joining the Army to become a better person. Do you think this is a good idea?"

Keith that reason to join the United States Army is in my opinion is the best. The Army during basic training will teach you the seven Army values; Leadership, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.

You'll spend one-week during basic training learning each of these Army values. As long as you commit yourself to learning them, learning from your drill sergeants and even the other trainees you'll become a better person.

And through your time in the Army, during your career, you'll become the person that you want to be, the person that the people in your family and your friends believe that you can be. So Keith, good luck to you and I wish you the best in your journey in joining the United States Army.
