  1. I was always planning on serving and I chose the Army Reserve because when we went to war in Iraq I was already in college and had established a life. I didn’t want to lose that by going Active Duty and having to move family around or anything of that nature so I chose Army Reserve to serve part time. The Army Reserve lets me to go to school and have a civilian career and spend time with my family.
