Colonel, United States Army - Former Commander of 1st Brigade “Raiders,” 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, TX

<p>Colonel Hickey commanded 1st Brigade, 4th ID in the deserts of Iraq.  Under his leadership, the 1st Brigade Combat Team defeated all known enemy forces in the northern portion of the Sunni Triangle, culminating in the capture of the dictator Saddam Hussein.</p>
