He has served in many roles with the program since becoming the Leadership enrollment Officer such as the Senior Military Instructor, Operations and Training Coordinator, and Human Resource Administrative assistant. He has retired from the Army National Guard serving over 20 years. Graduated with a BA in Economics and Operations Management in May 2000 at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Mobilized several times including tours in Bosnia and Iraq. Worked as production manager for 7 years at Generac Power Systems before joining the Wolf Pack staff.</p>

For the past two decades he served primarily in Airborne, Air Assault, and Light Infantry units at the brigade-level and below. He has been assigned to perform many command and staff key and developmental positions and has 33 months of combat experience. He has been stationed all over the world in locations that include Panama, Egypt, Haiti, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Germany. He is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Military Intelligence Officer Captains’ Career Course, and the resident Command and General Staff College (Intermediate Level Education). He has also earned his Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of California at Davis.</p>

MAJ Michael Perry

<p>Phone: (775) 682-7468</p><p><a href=""></a></p><p>Major Michael Perry enlisted in the Army shortly after 9/11 and received his commission from Army Officer Candidate School. He served as a light infantry Platoon Leader, Company XO, and Battalion Maintenance Officer with the 10th Mountain Division on deployments to Djibouti and Iraq. As a Captain, he served as S2 on a MiTT during a deployment to Afghanistan. After transitioning from Active Duty to the California Army National Guard, he joined the 1-160th Light Infantry Battalion where he sequentially served as S1, Company Commander of Bravo "Bandito" Company, and Battalion S4. He is currently assigned to the 4-414th Regt (USAR) with duty at the University of Nevada, Reno. Major Perry has a BA in History and is a graduate of the Army Airborne School, French Foreign Legion Commando Course, SROTC Recruiter’s Course, Military History Instructor’s Course, Command and General Staff Officers Course-Common Core (ILE), and Cadet Command’s Instructor Training Course.</p>

The majority of his military career has been with the Light Infantry where he deployed to the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. His has earned an Associate’s Degree in Homeland Security.</p>

<p>Staff Sergeant Brett Patterson has over 14 years experience in the U.S. Army with over 11 years leading, training and mentoring Soldiers. His entire career has been in the Military Police Corps. SSG Patterson has held positions as Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, Desk Sergeant and Physical Security NCO throughout his career. He has deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Iraq and Afghanistan. SSG Patterson is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.</p>

He has multiple overseas duty assignments and deployments which include South Korea, Germany, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.</p>

Germany. EST from active duty August 1985, serviced 1 year in the Army Reserve before returning back to Germany as a spouse. Started civil service career in 1988 as a Item Manager at INSCOM SSA in Augsburg, Germany. Assigned to University of Nevada Reno, Cadet Command in August 1999.</p>
