Cadets support the clean up effort by volunteering as a part of the "adopt-a-highway" program. This is both rewarding and fulfilling to the cadets who volunteer. This is one of several annual community service projects conducted by the cadet corps throughout each school year.

COL Lowell (Ret)

Senior Attorney, Office of Federal Operations, US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

COL Lowell was commissioned in 1968 through Syracuse University Army ROTC and earned his law degree from SUNY Buffalo in 1972. He entered active duty in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Colonel Lowell has served as the Senior Legal Advisor for the US Army Element Joint Reserve Unit, US Atlantic Command, Norfolk, Virginia since 1995 and has served in the military for over thirty years and practiced law for over 26 years.

LTC Holman (Ret)

Chief, Current Operations, US Army Cadet Command

LTC Holman graduated from Syracuse University in 1982 with dual BA degrees in English and Psychology and was commissioned in the Armor Branch. LTC Holman held numerous command and staff positions throughout his 20-year career in the Army.

Reverend

Reverend Dean graduated from Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences in 1967. He served as the Brigade Commander his senior year of Army ROTC. Reverend Dean was also a four year member of the men's basketball team, earning three varsity letters. The San Francisco Warriors selected him in the ninth round of the 1967 NBA draft. He was commissioned as an Infantry Officer.
