RANGER CHALLENGE

The Ranger Challenge is an opportunity for schools to "compete" with each other completing military tasks. In addition to a written examination where Cadets test their Army knowledge, there are physical fitness drills and field exercises. Battalions leave a Ranger Challenge with stronger bonds and sharper skills.

PERSHING RIFLES

The National Society of Pershing Rifles gives Army ROTC Cadets the opportunity to develop to the highest degree possible. Cadets can take part in precision trick rifle drill teams that provide them with the outstanding traits of leadership, military bearing and discipline.

Color Guard

We have cadets carry the American flag onto the field of the San Diego Chargers, Padres, local college teams and attend the occasional wedding or formal event.  They represent the values we stand for as a nation and march with pride as the audience watches in awe and silence.

Commander’s Cup

Each semester we have a friendly rivalry between the Army, Air Force and Navy ROTC programs in San Diego.  The cadets compete in different sports including football, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.  While the Air Force and Navy put up a fight, the Army remains victorious.
