ROTC cadets are just like any other college student on campus. They know when to hit the books and when to just kick back and relax.

Falcon Battalion cadets enjoy a few minutes of down time before weekly lab training.

ROTC cadets are just like any other college student on campus. They know when to hit the books and when to just kick back and relax.

“ As an ROTC cadet you will always have a family away from home. Family, that is what the Falcon Battalion represents for many of the cadets. As an ROTC cadet you will always have a support system that you can fall back on. When issues arise that you just cannot deal with on your own cadets can always turn to cadre and even other cadets for help and advise, and if you are faced with an issue that we are not qualified to assist you with we will find the people to help you. As a cadet you have others around you that are going through the same ordeals that you are. There is a bond between cadets that is not always going to be there with the average college student. It is this bond that makes the ROTC experience so rewarding and fulfilling. ”

See how interesting college can be when you're a part of Army ROTC. You'll be a college student first and foremost, just like the rest of the student body, but there's a key difference: you'll have even more opportunities to succeed.

These opportunities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) in the spring and fall where Cadets build their teamwork and leadership skills. Cadets also participate in Physical Training (PT) on a regular basis to keep up their strength and endurance.

In addition, each battalion has its own unique calendar of events and activities.
