“ I’ve had a pretty crazy ROTC experience. I started in high school with JROTC and walked into college with a 4 year scholarship. I teetered on the idea of taking the scholarship or using my college fund to pay my way. So in the beginning I did it for the money and my love of the military lifestyle and Major Wheelock, who I met back in high school, showed me the importance of duty and loyalty to this nation. My overall experience has been interesting to say the least. I've been shot, ambushed, raided on, taken down bunkers, shot at by snipers, and hit by paintballs. I will walk away from this a completely different person than when I walked in, with a few stories along the way. ”
