CDT Angela Minnich

My name is Angela Minnich.  I am a junior at North Dakota State University, majoring in Radiology with a minor in Military Science. For the past year I have been the President of the NDSU Armed Forces Association, which focus on soldier issues and establishes camaraderie among Veteran's, service members and military families here on campus. I have been in the Minnesota ARNG since 2003, working as a tank mechanic.  I deployed to Iraq with the MN Army National Guard from 2005-2007. In February 2010 I contracted with NDSU Army ROTC.  What most drew me to ROTC was the opportunity to enhance and broaden my leadership skills, while finishing my degree.   We make the most out of training, encouraging each other to perform to their best ability. I've met some great friends through the ROTC program. This summer I'll be moving to St. Cloud Minnesota to start my 24-month Radiology internship.  My plans are to graduate in 2013 and earn a commission, branching Adjutant General.  My plans after college are to stay with the MN ARNG and to work with the MN VA hospital as a Radiographer.

I am a sophomore attending NDSU seeking a major in civil engineering. I am from Blaine, MN. Go Bengals! I like to participate in or watch sports and enjoy most anything outdoors.  I haven’t had the chance to go to any extra schools yet, but hope I can get to one this summer.
