The Gold Bars

A newly commissioned Second Lieutenant receives his Gold Bars from his family.

“ Becoming an Army Officer was an extremely proud and humbling experience for me. Pinning on those gold bars made me realize that I have become a leader in the world’s best and most powerful Army. I take my oath and my responsibilities seriously, but I know I’m ready to meet the challenges that await me. ”
