LEARN HOW PEOPLE HAVE GAINED FROM ROTC
LEADERSHIP THAT LASTS A LIFETIME
One of the best ways to see if Army ROTC is right for you is to learn how alumni have benefited from the experience. See how the skills they learned in ROTC have helped them build successful and satisfying careers.
![]() | Just six months ago I graduated from Clemson University and was pinned with my gold bar, I left the world of Army ROTC and just a month later I began the Armor Officer's Basic Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Though very different from College, I was able to adapt quickly and utilize many of the skills I learned through ROTC to succeed at my Officer Basic Course. I graduated AOBC this past Friday and am working for the Fightin' Tiger Battalion until I start follow on schools in a week and a half. I can't wait to share my experiences with the Cadets here and help prepare them for life after college! Second Lieutenant Clayton Bahn
I am a recent graduate of the Clemson University Army ROTC program in South Carolina. Since my BOLC-B report date isn't until January 2011, I began working as the GBR for Clemson Army ROTC a few weeks ago. It's a good "starter job" because I am able to guide potential cadets towards our program by explaining to them the great training and life skills that you receive through the ROTC program. Being a GBR is also a great "transition job" from cadet life to the real Army because I still get the experience of working as active duty before actually beginning my training.
