ARMY ROTC
STAND OUT FROM THE REST
When you become a part of Army ROTC, you're not just working toward a diploma, but an even brighter future as a leader alongside other motivated Cadets. But make no mistake, you're a student first. You'll have a college schedule like your fellow students, but you'll also receive classroom and field courses that will challenge and excite you. Beyond that, you can take part in events and activities with fellow Cadets that will make your college experience even better.

PERSONAL COURAGE
PERSONAL COURAGE. Cadets execute rappelling operations.
See how interesting college can be when you're a part of Army ROTC. You'll be a college student first and foremost, just like the rest of the student body, but there's a key difference: you'll have even more opportunities to succeed.
These opportunities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) in the spring and fall where Cadets build their teamwork and leadership skills. Cadets also participate in Physical Training (PT) on a regular basis to keep up their strength and endurance.
In addition, each battalion has its own unique calendar of events and activities.
Learn more about Events and Activities
Physical Training
Physical Training (PT) is conducted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 6am. At PT cadets participate in a variety of exercises, from push-up pyramids, to running stairs, to rigorous pool exercises. In keeping with ROTC's mission of building future leaders, all PT sessions are planned and executed by cadets. ROTC will help you get in shape and give you opportunities to build your leadership skills!
Leadership Lab
Lab is held every Thursday morning at 6am and is the "hands-on" portion of ROTC that makes it unlike any other college course you can take. Lab is where cadets turn their leadership and training into action every week. Activities may include realistic first aid training, ambush missions in the woods, combat water survival training in the pool, or challenging field leader's reaction courses that help develop leadership and tactical skills. Come join Army ROTC and do something different.
Field Training Exercises
Every Fall and Spring the Marauder Battalion has a Field Training Exercise (FTX). FTXs are where cadets get to use all of the knowledge that they have learned in an interactive and tactical field environment. Activities may include repelling, M16 rifle range, land navigation, squad tactical exercises, and overnight camping. Cadets will gain valuable hands-on experience as they work out of a garrison or field environment and build their unit cohesion as they work together to accomplish a common goal.
Esprit de Corps
Esprit de Corps is the common spirit existing in the members of a group that inspires enthusiasm, devotion, and strong regard for the honor of the group. By joining Army ROTC, you will be taking your first step towards joining the largest, most respected, and most powerful military fighting force in the world! You will become a part of something bigger than yourself, and develop bonds of friendship that will last beyond college. Joining Army ROTC is the single best decision you can make to secure yourself a successful future!
