The Central Michigan University Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is an educational program which combines college electives in Military Sciencewith practical and unmatched leadership training. Our military science courses are designed to prepare men and women for succeeding in college, becoming Army officers, and developing in their chosen career.

Battalion history overview The Chippewa Battalion has been a part of the campus community since 1952. in that time the program has commissioned over 1,100 officers in the active Army, Army Reserves and the National Guard. As one of the largest programs in the state, the Chippewa Battalion continues to servethe campus and central Michigan community by training the future leaders ofthis nation.
