Cadets, midshipmen, and local emergency services personnel honor those who died at the Pentagon and World Trade Center at Auburn University’s annual September 11th Memorial Ceremony.

The War Eagle Battalion attracts and selects young men and women of thehighest caliber from across the nation, and retains those cadets throughpersonal attention and exciting, challenging training in order to produce thefinest junior officers in the world – men and women who can lead Soldiersthrough the rigors of combat and become our Nation’s  next generation ofsenior leaders.

Battalion History

Military training has been a tradition at Auburn University since before itsdesignation as a Land Grant College under the Morrill Land Grant Act of1862.  Today, Army ROTC is a part of the Officer Education System,dedicated to fulfilling its mantra of training quality men and women to servein the United States Army.
