- • Academic credit for Army ROTC classes and labs as "General Electives" applied toward a major.
- A Military Science minor.
- • Cadets may receive Health & Exercise Science credit (max 2 credit hours) for Army ROTC Physical Fitness Training.
- • Course credit provided to prior service members for initial active duty training.
- • National Scholarship cadets receive a Room & Board stipend of up to $5000 (freshman year only).

- Academic Credit for ROTC Courses. The Dean of Letters, Arts and Sciences provides one $500 scholarship per year to a cadet. Numerous external organizations provide monetary scholarships for cadets. The University provides up to $2,000 for out of state students meeting certain minimum academic standards renewable for four years.
