This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC :
  • Clemson University offers the Clemson Corps Endowment Scholarships to both instate and out of state students. In-state scholarships range from $500 - $1,000 and Out-of-state students can receive an out of state waiver valued at $16,158 so that the student will only have to pay the in-state tuition rate.
  • General and Nursing scholarships for 4, 3 and 2 year scholarships that pays 100% tuition and fees for in-state and out-of-state students. This scholarship also includes a yearly book allowance of $1,200 as well as the Cadet’s monthly stipend of: Freshman - $300, Sophomores - $350, Juniors - $450, and Seniors - $500.
  • Simultaneous Membership Program offers Cadets the opportunity of $4,500 a year tuition assistance for both Army National Guard Soldiers as well as Army Reserve Soldiers. The GRFD (Guaranteed Reserve Federal Duty) Scholarship is available as 3 and 2 year scholarships that pay 100% tuition and fees for in-state and out-of-state students. This scholarship also includes a yearly book allowance of $1,200 as well as the Cadet’s monthly stipend of: Freshman - $300, Sophomores - $350, Juniors - $450, and Seniors - $500.
  • South Carolina residents may also apply for Life scholarships of $2,000 each. The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA to retain the Life scholarship.
  • Clemson University offers a Military Science minor as well as academic credit for the completion of the Nurse Summer Training Program offered to Nursing Cadets.

Three year advanced designee winners get $10,000 in guaranteed financial aid their first year, then free room and board on top of their Army benefits the remaining three years. 2.0 GPA must be maintained.

    This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC :
    • Army ROTC Scholarship students can also earn the merit-based Armed Forces Scholarship to offset a portion of room and board costs. Out-of-State students receive $3,500 per year room and board enhancement. In-State students receive $950 freshman year and $3,500 sophomore, junior and senior years toward the room and board. South Carolina residents who maintain a 3.0 GPA are eligible for the Life Scholarship.
