  • Boston University scholarships are for full tuition.
  • Three year advanced designee winners receive an incentive grant from Boston University to cover half of the first year's tuition.
  • Scholarship winners can also compete for free room and board grants.
  • Pershing scholarship grants are also available to cadets on a need basis.
  • At Stonehill College scholarship winners may receive free room and board (if academically competitive).

This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC:
  • Northeastern University is the host university for the Liberty Battalion which includes Boston College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Suffolk University, Framingham State University, Berklee College of Music, Regis College, Emmanuel College, Emerson College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Simmons College.
  • Army ROTC scholarship recipients attending Wentworth Institute of Technology receive free room from the institution.
  • Students can take Army ROTC classes through this program at Northeastern University or Boston College.
  • Army ROTC scholarships cover full tuition, mandatory fees, $1200 a year for books, and a monthly stipend of $420.
  • Northeastern Army ROTC scholarship recipients are eligible for an institutional aid award of at least 20% the rate of tuition during in-class periods.
  • Army ROTC scholarship recipients attending Boston College receive free board throughout all four years and free room and board their Senior year.
