This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC :
  • The University of Connecticut is the host institution for the Nathan Hale Battalion. Students attending college in the North Eastern part of the state who attend UCONN Storrs and ECSU train at the UCONN Storrs campus. The University of New Haven is our southern tier partner (both campuses have dedicated fulltime staff). Students who attend Southern Connecticut State University, Yale University and the University of New Haven train at the University of New Haven’s West Haven campus.
  • UConn, and UNH provide full academic credit for all Military Science courses.
  • All locations offer Guaranteed Reserve Duty Contracts through the USAR and ARNGs Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), THE SMP program provides 100% Tuition and fees at all listed location along with a $1200 a year book allotment and a $350-$500 a month stipend.
  • All locations offer Scholarships that allow you to train and compete for Active Duty. This program provides 100% Tuition and fees at all listed location along with a $1200 a year book allotment and a $350-$500 a month stipend
  • Army scholarship Cadets may also opt to use their scholarship for Room and Board which provides a maximum of $10,000 per school year. This option also provides a $1200 a year book allotment and montly stident between$300-$500 a month
  • Build your future: Transcend the Army after four years becoming future leaders of government, business, industry, and academia carrying with you the Army values, armed with the experience of service to nation through Army ROTC.
