  • St. Bonaventure University offers generous incentives to ROTC scholarship winners. SBU offers a grant covering the average cost of on-campus room and board for 4-year Scholarship winners. All of the schools in our program strongly support ROTC and have generous financial aid packages to assist with tuition and other fees to help 3-Year Scholarship winners offset costs for their Freshman year.

Virginia Tech

School Type : Senior Military College
This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC:
    • Virginia Tech
    • Awards 200 Emerging Leader Scholarships annually to incoming cadets. One hundred scholarships (each worth $12,000 over four years) are available for cadets paying out-of-state tuition rates. The other 100 scholarships (each worth $6,000 over four years) are awarded to cadets paying in-state tuition rates.
    • All Army ROTC cadets are also members of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and can gain additional significant leadership experience through the Corps of Cadets in addition to the Army ROTC.
    • Cadets live on-campus all four years.
    • Cadets may earn a minor in Leadership Studies.
    • Each Army ROTC cadet who joins the Corps of Cadets Regimental Band, the nationally-known Highty Tighties, is eligible for a $1,000 stipend the freshman year. and may qualify for a $500 scholarship the sophomore year.

    • Radford University
    • Nursing students enrolling in Radford ROTC are guaranteed admission into upper division level nursing for their junior and senior year. Other benefits include:
    • nurse malpractice insurance, nursing uniforms and clinical supplies, NCLEX-RN review course ($250-400) and NCLEX test fee ($200)
    • free stethoscope your junior year
    • free PDA with pharmacology software your senior year
    • Additional nurse specialty training is offered to Army Nurses after graduation, which include:obstetrics and gynecology, critical care, psychiatric and mental health, operating room, operating room, community health
