- Howard University provides Army ROTC Cadets partial room and
board; however the amount Cadets receive are based on their standing
within the program. The PMS uses the following criteria to allocate
these funds (Overall GPA, Semester GPA, APFT, Attendance and
participation in Labs, PT, Field Training exercises and extra-curricular
activities) - 2,3, and 4yr Army ROTC Scholarships that cover full tuition, fees and books
- Monthly Stipend of $350-$500 per month
- Opportunity to earn additional scholarships from various
organizations supporting the Howard Army ROTC Program

This school offers the following additional incentives to students taking Army ROTC:
- Cadets enrolled in the University of Missouri Army ROTC program are eligible to compete for several additional scholarships. The Professor of Military Science awards these scholarships on an annual or semi-annual schedule to Cadets who demonstrate outstanding performance or potential in leadership, academics, and physical fitness. The scholarship amounts vary, They range from $150- $3,000. A minor in ROTC is also offered. All upper level ROTC courses count towards elective credit and 30-hour requirement for most colleges in the university.
