
COL MEGAN B. STALLINGS
COL Megan B. Stallings was born in Remsenburg, New York, and commissioned into the Adjutant General’s Corps upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1995.
COL Stallings served in numerous command and staff positions, including Commander of the 12th Battalion, United States Military Entrance Processing Command; Enlisted Accessions Branch Chief, Directorate of Military Personnel Management, Headquarters, Department of the Army G-1; Professor of Military Science, United States Army Cadet Command, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Brigade S1, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade; Deputy J1, Combined Joint Task Force 101, 101st Airborne Division Air Assault; and most recently as the J/G1 Director for the United States Military District of Washington and the Joint Force Headquarters--National Capital Region. She served two operational deployments to Afghanistan.
COL Stallings’ professional military education includes the AG Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; Combined Arms and Services Staff School; Human Resources Management Qualification Course; College of Naval Command and Staff, United States Naval War College; and the Eisenhower School, National Defense University. COL Stallings holds a Masters Degrees in National Resource Strategy; National Security and Strategic Studies; Geography; Human Resource Development; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering.
Her awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Services Achievement Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal. She also holds the Air Assault and Parachutist badges.
COL Stallings is married to COL Christopher Stallings. They have three children, Colby (21), Carter (18) and Braden (8).
