Matthews is a burly, physical player who projects best as a mauling guard. He thrives in the run game and does a good job for such a big, young prospect at locating and engaging linebackers at the second level when needed. He's solid and possesses an outstanding football pedigree, in addition to anchoring well in pass pro.
