2018 All-American Marching Band

Now in its eleventh year, the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band returns to perform during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band features 125 of the finest high school senior marching musicians and color guard members from across the country.

The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band recognizes the nation's leading high school band members. These young men and women demonstrate the U.S. Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honesty, Integrity and Personal Courage in their everyday lives. Like the U.S. Army All-American football players, the national selection of All-American band members is based on a broad range of attributes that goes beyond performance and include qualities such as academic achievement, leadership abilities and community service.

Allen is a current member of The Salt River Brass. He has made All-State band his sophomore and junior year and was placed first chair in the band both years. He has run fundraisers like the March of Dimes at his high school, which he raised $5,000 dollars in support of kids with birth defects. Allen would like to continue playing in band programs while in college.
