U.S. ARMY PROVIDES A HANDS-ON INTERACTIVE AREA AT THIS YEAR’S DEW TOUR IN LONG BEACH, CA
In July, the U.S. Army partnered with The Enthusiast Network (TEN) to provide a hands-on approach to extreme action sports by hosting a large interactive area at Dew Tour in Long Beach, CA. Held in an area notorious for a deep skateboarding history, the four-day summer Dew Tour event focused on individual skateboarding competitions, as well as an inaugural team skateboarding competition. In the middle of the action was the Army’s large interactive footprint, where attendees could try out the Army’s latest virtual reality technology, take photos in the Army GIF booth, compete in physical fitness challenges, check out some of the Army’s robotics technology, and meet professional skate boarders for autograph signings.
