"Your Soldiers do not care how much you know
until they know how much you care."
Sgt. 1st Class Jordan Ferrari enlisted into the U.S. Army in May 2008. Ferrari is a graduate student at Boston University pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. Ferrari finds time in between her graduate studies and her Army recruiting job to intern as a chemical dependency treatment counselor and is licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage Family Therapy Board.
Ferrari has volunteered nearly 500 hours at a local counseling facility this year. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to give back to the local community. I truly believe that when our time on Earth is done, the only thing we leave behind is the impact we have on others. It is my hope that I have left a positive impact on those that I have encountered whether it be through military service or through counseling,” says Ferrari.
