“If you're not willing to suffer for it, it won't be
worth your time."
Spc. Dgiovahni Denize grew up constantly involved in music and sports. The kids in his Atlanta neighborhood always gravitated to his bedroom studio to record new music. After graduating from high school, he attended Georgia Southern University, where he continued recording, writing, and producing local talent. Denize spent his post-college years working at several major recording studios in the south until finances and family issues provoked a career change. He enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic. After his first enlistment as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, he learned about the Army Band program and re-classed as a Guitar Player. The Army Band has afforded Denize the luxury of pursuing music full time, including opportunities to work in recording studios once again.
