Army Advanced Education in General Dentistry 12-Month Program

Professions covered: Dental

Elevate your dental career and receive hands-on training to perform some of the most sophisticated dental procedures, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics and pedodontics. This one-year training program is open to recent graduates and practicing dentists who have graduated within the last three years.

  • Receive one year of graduate education in dentistry while on active duty.
  • Receive pay and benefits commensurate with active duty status.
  • Be a recent graduate or practicing dentist who has graduated within the past three years. Also, you have to have been an HPSP recipient to apply.

Specialized Training Assistance Program

Professions covered: Medical, Dental

This assistance program is designed for physicians, oral surgeons and prosthodontic and comprehensive dentistry residents currently enrolled in accredited residency programs. You'll receive a monthly stipend of more than $2,200. Once you have finished the program, you'll train as part of an Army Reserve unit and serve when needed.
