the U.S. Army's Youth Certificate of Recognition

The majority of U.S. Army's Youth Certificates of Recognition are awarded to America's Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts because Scouts' values are closely aligned with Army values. Boy Scouts are entitled to receive the Certificate of Recognition upon achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Girl Scouts are entitled to receive the Certificates upon receiving the Gold Award. We value our Eagle Scouts and Girl Scout Gold Award recipients, and are pleased to offer them an opportunity to join the Army at an advanced rank in recognition of their accomplishments.

Scout leaders and parents may nominate their scouts for this award by completing an on-line application or by contacting their nearest U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion.

The US Army is proud to work with and honor the young men and women of America's scouting organizations: the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA.
