Challenges, teamwork, and good friends make participation in the ROTC training events both fun and worthwhile.

The Governors Guard Battalion is not a typical ROTC battalion. Our proximity to Fort Campbell, Kentucky (20 minutes) means that we have some exceptional training opportunities available to us. These opportunities include the use of multi-million dollar simulation facilities, hands-on training with helicopters and other Army equipment, and Army Air Assault School. Additionally, about one third of our cadets are former soldiers from Fort Campbell who bring a wealth of prior service knowledge and experience to the classroom and labs.

Here, you will learn to be an officer and a leader. Being an officer in the US Army means you are a strategist, a motivator, and a counselor. As an officer, you will lead Soldiers in all situations and adapt to constantly changing environments. You will be trained and driven to achieve success with your team on every mission.
