TRAIN IN MEDIA OR PUBLIC AFFAIRS IN THE ARMY

At Defense Information School, you can train in a skill that's related to creating editorial publications, radio programs and television programs. You can also learn what it takes to compile mission-related visual documents.

Specifically, you can receive training as a Soldier in one of the following areas:

  • Public affairs
  • Journalism
  • Photojournalism
  • Broadcasting
  • Graphics
  • Electronic imaging
  • Broadcast systems maintenance
  • Video production
  • Visual information management

Instruction is available to Officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees of all branches of the Armed Forces to prepare them for worldwide assignments within The Department of Defense.
