All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Schmid has the strength and athleticism to excel at both punting and kicking for his high school team. His powerful leg allows him to pin his opponents deep in their own end every time he’s on the field. Schmid also has good hang time on his kicks, allowing the coverage team to limit yards on returns. As he continues to develop his skills as a punter, look for Schmid to make a big impact at the collegiate level.
