All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

A handful for defensive players, Mixon is an extremely shifty running back who is also a threat in the passing game. His patience with the ball is remarkable, often finding the hole to burst through. Mixon’s speed in the open field is also very impressive, using it to blow by defenders. He has the skills to run effectively both north and south or east and west, a rare talent. Mixon’s impressive balance allows him to pick up yards after contact.
