Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

D.J. Calhoun is an explosive linebacker who always seems to be around the ball making plays. He has the skills to drop back in coverage and also attack the line in the run game. Calhoun has quick feet, strong hands and exceptional balance, giving him the ability to match up with any player on the opposing team. He loves to lay the big hit, but also has the knowledge to know when to wrap up a player and bring him to the ground.
