All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

A double threat, Downs has the skills to play both linebacker and running back. He is a very physical player on both sides of the ball and dominates opposing running backs when lined up as a linebacker. Downs is extremely quick off the edge and can get after the quarterback in a flash. He has the ability to seal the edge, as well as clog up the middle and stuff the run. His strength allows him to take down the opposition as soon as he gets his hands on them.
