Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Allen plays bigger then his size and is one of the hardest-hitting defenders in the 2013 class. Though he lines up at safety, Allen is smooth in his backpedal and is athletic enough to run with a wide receivers. He puts fear in receivers coming across the middle of the field and is a force in run support. This past season, Allen tallied 114 tackles, six pass break-ups, one interception and one forced fumble.
