All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Nelson is an impressively strong physical player who excels in run blocking. He uses his powerful leg strength to his advantage, pushing back oncoming rushers and providing plenty of holes for his running backs to burst through. His determination to improve his game both on and off the field set him up for success, while his aggressive attitude and sheer size give him the opportunity to play either guard or tackle at the next level.
