All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Jamil Kamara
Jamil Kamara
Wide Receiver

Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School | Virginia Beach, VA

Kamara is a big target who has strong hands and good leaping ability and uses it to his advantage. His positioning is usually spot on, as he uses his size to shield defenders from the ball. Kamara’s large wing span gives him the opportunity to catch anything thrown in his direction. He is not one to shy away from contact either, and will constantly battle for extra yards. It does not matter if he lines up outside or in the slot, he is effective either way.
