Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

The native of Tennessee is staying home to play his college ball next year. Hurd is a tall, muscular back who has excellent vision and cutback abilities. His god given speed plays a big part in his game, as he leaves defenders in the dust. Though not the biggest in size, Hurd shows tremendous toughness and never shies away from contact. When he fills out his body, Hurd will be a force to be reckoned with at the next level.
