All-American Bowl

Army Events

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Elijah Hood
Elijah Hood
Running Back
222 pounds
North Carolina
Charlotte Catholic High School | Charlotte, NC

A tremendous back that has the size, speed, and strength to be a dominant force at the next level. His quickness allows him to find the holes in the defense and shoot right through them. Hood has the skills to bounce outside or run through tackles. His strength plays a big role in his game, allowing him to pick up plenty of yards after contact. If you attempt to tackle him up high, you don’t stand a chance, while if you attempt to tackle him down low you better have help.
